One month after our first kill of the Lich King, we have progressed nicely enough with the heroic modes. While we could off course do better considering that we have had a 15% buff most of the time we have managed to climb (hopefully) permanent in ranking from the embarrassing low #9 to #7. Once again, I am still not satisfied with the ranking (some people call me obsessed) and I hope that we can manage to do better in the coming month.

The current status of heroic mode kills done is 8/12, with the remaining bosses being our eternal optimist Professor Putricide, the Lady Deathwhisper, Sindragosa and obviously Arthas himself. With the ICC buff gaining yet another (IMNASHO untimely) 5% increase, I expect to see at least one of these go down.

We are entering the summer months. As such, the turn-out for raids could be slightly lower then what we would have wanted.  As such, this is a good time to remind people of what classes we currently are in need of:

1 Warlock

1 Feral Druid (DPS, not tank)

1 Death Knight (DPS, not tank)

1 Resto Shaman

Just thought I'd post a small update on our heroic content progression.

Yesterday we had a 3 hour grind on Saurfang. After wiping over and over again at virtually the same %, we were all ready to throw in the towel and continue on Sunday. We did make one last try though and what do you know, after a shocking start, he went down. 

Congratulations to Kittielitter for our first ilevel 277 heroic token (or rather damn you, that was supposed to be MY token!!!!) and to Apokaz for a new healing belt.

After the loot was handed out, people demanded a screenshot to be taken. We did so, but sadly some had already ported out so its not a complete one. 

Current score is 5/12, them being Saurfang, Valithera Dreamwalker, Lord Marrowgar, Rotface and Gunship Battle. Although there is debatable whether the last two mentioned can actually be called heroic or not.

Again a kill long overdue. Sunday we had 31 people online and we could finally 

 After a very shaky start, we hit the stride and everything fell into place. Kudos to the healers who did a good job keeping the raid alive in phase 3 long enough.
